Furla opens new London store

Italian leather accessories brand Furla has opened its new London store at 71 Brompton Road, following the success of its standalone store on Regent Street, as it continues to strengthen the brand’s presence in the UK.

Located in the Knightsbridge area of the city, the 3,000 square foot store houses Furla’s women’s bag and leather accessory offering, alongside its men’s collection on the lower ground floor and two areas dedicated entirely to footwear.

The store has been fitted to encapsulate Furla’s brand DNA with a “sophisticated yet playful design concept” featuring champagne coloured satin-finish details to complement natural materials including opaque glass and wood, which the brand states have been used to “create a warm, inviting retail space for customers to enjoy browsing the new collections.”

To mark the opening, Furla has launched a new custom version of its Metropolis bag with a print featuring a London Bridge motif, which will be exclusive to the store. Each bag is limited-edition and will be accompanied with an “Exclusive for Brompton Road London” tag and can be personalised with a bright blue fur pompon.

Commenting on the opening, Furla general manager Alberto Camerlengo said: “The opening of the London store represents an additional piece in the puzzle of the brand’s expansion strategy. We have invested in new stores with a sophisticated, elegant and functional image offering space for all products, increasing the awareness of the brand and exhibiting the Furla lifestyle.”
