Galeries Lafayette, the French department store chain, has unveiled a new men’s flagship in its Bordeaux store as it continues to expand its menswear business.

The 32,000 square foot space spans four floors and carries 150 menswear brands across sportswear, casual and formal tailoring. A number of these are new and exclusive to the store, including Ralph Lauren Polo Sport, CK Menswear and Tiger of Sweden.

Galeries Lafayette is focusing much of its expansion efforts on its menswear business, recently overhauling its dedicated men’s department store in the Marais, BHV Homme. The entire space has been made over with new dining concepts, while a number of new standalone men’s boutiques have been set up just outside the store, including Valentino, Moncler, Givenchy, Gucci and Fendi.

The retailer’s flagship on Boulevard Haussmann is also currently undergoing a makeover, with a new shoe floor set up and more luxury brands, sportswear and lifestyle offerings set to follow. The full extension is expected to be completed by Q1 2016.
