American fashion and lifestyle retailer Gant has confirmed that it will relocate its current Regent Street flagship to a bigger unit on the same London street, after signing a 10-year lease with The Crown Estate.

Gant is currently located at 185-191 Regent Street and they will be moving directly opposite to open a new global flagship store at 184-186 Regent Street, the former home of Hugo Boss, located next to Hamleys and the new Kate Spade.

The new 7,800 square foot flagship is expected to open in the autumn and will house Gant, Gant Diamond G and Gant Rugger in an entirely new in-store concept over two floors.

Gant UK and Ireland managing director Fergus Patterson, said: “We are very excited to be opening a new Gant Regent Street store that will offer the House of Gant featuring an attractive and contemporary setting. We are thrilled to remain part of the premium fashion destination on Regent Street to continue offering customers the Gant brand experience.”

The Crown Estate asset manager for the Regent Street portfolio, Katerina Mercury, added: “It’s fantastic news that Gant’s iconic smart/casual clothing and classic American sportswear will continue to be a defining feature of Regent Street’s fashion line-up in a re-imagined global flagship store.

“Regent Street’s transformation into one of the world’s most popular fashion and lifestyle destinations has been driven by flagship offerings from leading modern brands like Gant, so we’re delighted to be working with them to deliver an exciting new store for London’s fashion lovers.”
