Swedish fast-fashion retailer H&M is set to open a new store in the Exchange shopping centre, in Ilford next month as the company continues to expand its global presence.

The new store in Ilford will span over 1,900 square meters of selling space spread across two floors and feature H&M's women's wear, men's wear and children's wear collections, in addition to its teenage range H&M Divided.

"We have an opportunity to reach both existing and new customers, showcasing our great quality fashion that caters for every budget," commented Carlos Duarte, H&M's UK & IE Country Manager. "Our new store opening in Ilford is a great addition to the H&M portfolio, allowing us to bring even more of our offering to north-east London."

In honour of the store's opening, set for September 15th, shoppers who join the queue for the store on the day before 11 am will be given a wristband for 25 percent discount on the collection.

H&M currently counts over 260 stores across the UK and Ireland and is continuing to strengthen its presence. The fashion retailer recently announced plans to open a store in the Spires shopping centre in Barnes as well as one in the Newlands shopping centre in Kettering.
