Swedish fast-fashion giant H&M is set to unveil a new flagship store in Langley Court, Covent Garden later this year, adding to its impressive store count of 257 stores within the UK and Ireland.
The store, which is set to be located within a historic 19th century warehouse building within Mercers' Yard, a large retail development which is set to be completed come fall. The new flagship store is set to offer H&M's womenswear, menswear, beauty and divided collections as well as accessories, although further information regarding the store's offering will be revealed closer to the opening date, which has yet to be confirmed.
"We are delighted to secure H&M as the anchor retailer for Mercers' Yard," said Bill Scarborough, Chairman of Long Acre Estates. "It is important to the company that the redevelopments retain the Covent Garden character anf this refurbished warehouse building does just that. It forms the centerpiece, not just for Mercers' Year but our entire Covent Garden, providing a superb retail flagship store."
