Luxury retailer Harvey Nichols has unveiled a newly revamped designer accessories and jewellery destination at its Knightsbridge flagship in time for Christmas.

The new destination marks the final stage of its ambitious refurbishment of the entire ground floor of the Knightsbridge store, which aims to offer customers a contemporary yet luxurious look and feel.

The new designer accessories area is located adjacent to the Sloane Street entrance and has been designed to create a “generously spacious, cool and glamorous destination” to shop a curated edit of designer brands including Valentino, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen and Mark Cross, as well as many new and exclusive brands such as Perrin Paris, Tyler Ellis and Ming Ray.

A key design feature is an architectural wall constructed from marble, copper and a soft pastel resin that exhibits an edit of handbags from floor to ceiling.

The retailer has also added a five-star Store Concierge Service that promises to offer an “effortless way to shop”, including offering special services such as a Handbag Clinic that offer expert restoration and repair customers existing handbags.

There is also an enhanced scarf offering with the luxury department store stocking Lilly E Violetta, Ama Pure and Hockley along with luxury cashmere from Denis Colomb. As well as exclusive millinery collections introduced from Sayta Twena and London label Victoria Grant.

Harvey Nichols completes final stage of ground floor refurbishment

Harvey Nichols buying manager for accessories Tina Lamb, said: “I’m really proud of the new Designer Accessories destination, which now sits in a more prominent location on the Ground Floor.

“The redesign perfectly reflects our curated edit of brands for a more coherent overall offering. We have introduced a number of new and exclusive collections to sit alongside our existing designer brands that I think will excel in this new space.”

To “bridge” between accessories and beauty is a new jewellery suite, which offers brands including the Talisman Gallery, Annoushka and Marco Bicego, including exclusive collections from Ortaea, Selim Mouzannar and Tasaki and shop-in-shops from Kojis, Niquesa, Mozafarian and Ara Vartanian.

Harvey Nichols group commercial director Daniela Rinaldi added: “We are really proud to be unveiling our new accessories department that promises an elevated offering across jewellery, designer handbags and accessories. The newly designed space opens up the entire Ground Floor, and showcases our curated edit in an opulent yet contemporary environment that is akin of a luxury boutique.”

The designer accessories and jewellery suite was designed in partnership with Virgile+Partners and marks the final stage of refurbishment to the ground floor. Development will now focus on the main structural work of the 18th Century Harvey Nichols building.
