Shopping centre Intu Bromley is welcoming a host of new fashion retailers including Joules, as part of the centre’s extensive refurbishment to revitalise its retail and leisure offer, which includes the opening of a new alfresco dining scheme in July.

Joules, known for its floral and stripe staples, has taken a 1,754 square foot unit, and is set to open this month. They will join footwear brand Skechers, which has acquired a 2,475 square foot space, and fashion accessories retailer Lovisa that has signed up to a 656 square foot space to house its second UK store.

Intu regional director Rebecca Ryman, said: “We’re investing heavily in Bromley with our recent mall refurbishment and new restaurant expansion and this is clearly paying off with a number of exciting and high-profile retailers selecting our centre as the right location to attract affluent shoppers from central London and the south east.

“We want to make sure Bromley continues to thrive by ensuring that it remains an attractive alternative to other major shopping destinations nearby. Our revitalised mix of brands at the centre will play a crucial role in encouraging customers to come from further and stay for longer and this in turn helps all our retailers to flourish.”

Joules retail property acquisitions manager, David Ball, added: “We’re excited to be in Bromley for the first time. It’s exactly the right space to bring our unique personality and style to shoppers and a key location in our continued strategy to grow our core UK market.”
