Jennifer Chamandi opens flagship boutique in London’s Mayfair

British footwear brand Jennifer Chamandi has opened its first flagship boutique on Clifford Street in Mayfair, London, marking a major retail expansion as the label approaches its ten-year anniversary.

Located at 15B Clifford Street, the space represents the brand’s initial move into physical brick and mortar retail. The launch follows the international growth of its wholesale distribution network, which includes stockists such as Harrods, Net-a-Porter, Bergdorf Goodman, Level Shoes and Ounass.

Located in Mayfair retail destination

The boutique is situated below The Apartment, the brand’s bespoke atelier that opened in 2024. Positioned near Bond Street and Savile Row, the location places the brand within London’s historic quarter for craftsmanship.

During the development of the property, founder Jennifer Chamandi Boghossian discovered that the building had originally functioned as a shoe shop nearly one century ago, before its previous owners’ 40-year tenure.

“We wanted the two spaces to feel like one world, to feel like a home, and to tell the brand story in every detail,” said Agata Wejchert, interior designer and brand strategist who collaborated with Boghossian on the interior concept.

Design concept and product universe

The store environment incorporates the brand’s patented Eye of the Needle design emblem throughout its structural and decorative details. Features include a brass sculpture in the window display, interlinked mesh across the entrance glazing, custom side tables, bespoke joinery and an Eye of the Needle infinity lamp.

The main retail floor features a monochromatic palette with taupe accents, alabaster panels, floating display shelves and a fluted glass stair balustrade. The lower floor houses a pink room called The Shoebox, which features suede-lined floating shelves and mirrored walls designed to accommodate private bespoke and bridal appointments.

The flagship launch coincides with the extension of the brand's product lines beyond footwear into a broader accessories collection, which includes bags, small leather goods and belts.

Boghossian, a former senior banker and Economics graduate from the London School of Economics, founded the luxury label in 2016 following studies at the London College of Fashion. The brand’s footwear collection continues to be produced in collaboration with a family-run atelier in Milan, Italy.
