Premium fashion brand Jigsaw has opened its 3,000 square foot St James’s Emporium store at London’s Piccadilly offering its full range of men’s and women’s clothing, footwear and accessories.

The concept shop designed by London agency Dalziel and Pow, who also created Jigsaw’s Duke Street flagship, is part of the St James’s Market development, and is the British fashion brand’s most luxurious statement to date.

The store has been given the premium treatment with statement artworks and lighting, in addition to a press room on the lower floor. Overlooking the shop floor on the floating mezzanine layer, is a shop-in-shop for sister brand The Shop at Bluebird. This multi-brand concept offers a highly curated blend of Acne, Aesop, and Cire Trudon candles.

Commenting on the new flagship, Jigsaw chief executive, Peter Ruis, said: “We set out to create a unique Jigsaw experience. The idea of a slick 'fifth avenue' store but with all the quirks and warmth normally associated with our brand. We wanted also to make a truly international statement, and St James's Market will be incredibly visible as a tourist destination.”

Jigsaw joins leading lifestyle brands Smeg and Assos in St James’s Market, a 400 million pound joint venture between The Crown Estate and Oxford Properties to create a new world-class retail, business and leisure destination in the heart of this historic part of London’s West End.

The premium fashion high street brand opened its first shop in Hampstead and Brighton in 1972 and has since grown to more than fifty stores across the UK and America.
