Fashion and lifestyle retailer Joy has opened its first outlet store at the London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park.

The women’s and menswear retailer, which has 29 full-price standalone stores in the UK, has taken a 2,450 square foot store in the outlet centre that also houses other fashion brands including Kurt Geiger, Phase Eight, H&M and LK Bennett.

Maureen O’Brien, managing director of Joy, said: “We are delighted to have opened our first JOY outlet store at LDO. After a very successful first week of trading we are both excited and confident about the potential of the store. We think it is an excellent and valuable addition to our growing UK footprint.”

The London Designer Outlet opened in 2013 and offers more than 50 premium and high street stores selling fashion and lifestyle products up to 70 percent off. It bills itself as the only designer retail outlet within the M25 and aims to attract up to eight million visitors a year.
