London - High street fashion retailer Karen Millen teamed up with Retail Assist, to launch an exclusive retail technological driven pop-up store names Nexpo in the Hoxton Arches, Shoreditch, London.

The Nexpo pop-up store featured in-store technology developed to enhance the customer journey experience, such as wearable tech for store assistants, time-delay mirrors which let customers film and share videos of themselves in new outfits, store heat mapping and RFID tagged garments. The pop-up, which ran from September 21 to 23, aimed to reflect a real store environment to demonstrate how technology can be applied in store, allowing visitors the chance to browse and shop Karen Millen’s AW16 collection at the same time.

“It is fantastic to see progressive technology together in this environment with elements of the technology on show in this pop-up already being used in Karen Millen stores,” said Charlotte Ellis, Customer Director at Karen Millen in a statement. “This pop-up brings it all together in one place alongside new tech innovations, helping us create a highly engaging and differentiated client experience. We’re really excited about the potential for this emerging technology as a key part of our continued ambition to a leading accessible luxury fashion brand”.
