Marni revamps Meatpacking District store

Marni has brought its new retail concept, Marni Markets, to its Meatpacking store in New York City. The new revamped boutique is still home to the brand's ready-to-wear collections in addition to the unique Marni Markets products.

Marni Meatpacking Market is conceived as a contemporary hub spanning over 250 square meters. The space maintains features of the original concept store while introducing new elements, juxtaposing industrial fixtures with sophisticated materials and Marni's signature bright colors.

The store carries both the women's and men's collections and the Marni Markets products which include furniture, chairs, home objects, and a range of colorful handbags that will be reinterpreted every season. Each Marni Market product is one-of-a-kind and is the result of a collaborative venture with Colombian artisans who have been working with Marni for many years. All products are crafted following traditional techniques attesting to the Colombian artisan' conservative yet visionary perspective in experimenting with materials and colors.

Marni has also partnered with Farfetch for a selection of the Marni Market product to be available via their web platform. As shoppers continue to look for more experiential and meaningful retail experiences, Marni's new concept is sure to excite customers. With the collaborations with Colombian artisans there is potential to bring in a new customer base as well.
