Mint Velvet to open in Milton Keynes

British womenswear brand Mint Velvet is opening a new store within the premium Silbury Arcade section of Milton Keynes shopping centre The Centre:MK this summer.

In a statement, Mint Velvet said that the 2,800 square foot space will be a “key regional store” for the brand as it continues to focus on its expansion within “premium retail destinations”.

The new store will be designed by London-based StudioJill and will house the brand’s full collection of womenswear, footwear and accessories.

It will join other premium brands on Silbury Arcade, including Reiss, Jigsaw and The White Company.

Kevin Duffy, centre director at Centre:MK, said: “Mint Velvet’s philosophy of effortless luxury and relaxed glamour perfectly complements the premium line-up of retailers we have curated on Silbury Arcade, each speaking to our affluent customer base and their needs.

“To be the destination of choice for a city debut store in Milton Keynes from a top performing brand is a real mark of confidence and reaffirms our position as a top 10 retail destination in the UK.”

This latest announcement follows the strong momentum of signings, openings and upsizes experienced at Centre:MK throughout 2023, with leading retail brands Mango, Reiss, H&M and Phase Eight opening new stores.
