High street retailer Next is set to open its first bridal wear concession as part of a trial with affordable bridal retailer, Wed2B in its Manchester store.
The Wed2B concession will be based on the third floor of the Manchester Arndale store and will span 3,700 square foot, housing around 350 dresses and eight changing rooms.
The brand will offer a range of different designs, including bridal and bridesmaid dresses, all of which are priced under 699 pounds and are available in sizes 6-30. It will also offer a wide selection of bridal accessories.
Todd Cassidy, founder and chief executive of Wed2B, said in a press release: “We’re excited to be opening our first concession in Manchester. It will be very interesting to see how this store performs.
“As with all of our 33 stores nationwide, brides-to-be can drop in whenever they like, take their time browsing our designer collections, and try as many dresses as they like before choosing and taking home their perfect gown that very same day.”
Founded in 2009, Wed2B is one of the UK’s largest and most affordable national off-the-peg bridalwear retailers with 33 stores across the country. The brand is backed by British financier Javad Marandi, the investor behind Soho House Group's highly successful Soho Farmhouse hotel.
