Sportswear giant Nike is expanding its focus on women with its first dedicated women’s store in Europe on London’s King’s Road.

Marking the sportswear label’s third women’s only-store, the others opened late last year in Shanghai, China and Newport Beach and California. The London store located at 33 King's Road has been designed to “inspire women to reach their athletic potential”.

Spanning 2,200 square feet, the store offers women’s running and fitness kit, as well as bespoke services such as trouser hemming, gait analysis and bra fitting. In addition, the store will also create a fitness hub hosting free weekly Nike+ Training Club classes and a Nike+ Run Club.

“Our new King’s Road store is yet another example of our commitment to women to bring them the very best of Nike,” said Heidi O’Neill, VP and GM Nike Stores. “Our women’s business has never been stronger and our deep connections with women at retail are helping fuel this growth.”

The store, which features art by London-based illustrator Isamaya French, also features a click and collect system, allowing customers to order online and pick up their purchases in the store.
