Notonthehighstreet to open pop-up for anniversary

Online marketplace, Notonthehighstreet.com is set to open its first pop-up shop to mark its 10th anniversary.

The online retailer’s first offline shopping experience, Open Door, will take place from May 6-8 in Old Spitalfields Market, transforming the historic space into an interactive shopping experience.

The free event will see consumers stepping through a number of “immersive entryways” that will transport them into a unique retail space where they will be able to shop from all of the online retailer’s key categories including fashion, art, homeware and garden accessories.

Open Door will also offer demonstrations and workshops throughout the day with some of the retailer’s key sellers including food and drink tastings, hula-hoop sessions, creative workshops, as well as live music.

“Customers love the ease of discovering products online but also crave tactile, sensory experiences, so we're excited to offer immersive, physical and exclusive experiences that consumers can actively participate in, such as interactive workshops and demonstrations with our sellers,” Sally Bendelow, creative product director at Notonthehighstreet, told The Drum.
