British menswear brand Oliver Spencer is opening a shop-in-shop in luxury Parisian department store Le Bon Marché this month.

The 380 square foot space, located on the lower ground floor of the Left Bank department store, will open on February 18 and will showcase the menswear designer’s spring/summer 2016 collection, which was inspired by the work of sculptor Richard Serra.

Currently Oliver Spencer is stocked in more than 100 stores internationally, including Liberty, Selfridges and online at Mr Porter. In addition, the brand has five standalone stores, four of which are in London and one in Toronto, Canada. The new opening is a key concession for the brand, which Spencer founded in 2002, and marks the start of the brand's expansion plans.

Commenting on the expansion, Spencer said: “To deliver detail, interest and structure, which combines for the perfect spring summer wardrobe. The Oliver Spencer man is modern, independent and eclectic, and we’re very proud to be doing this partnership with Le Bon Marche.”

The Oliver Spencer features ready-to-wear pieces from denim to tailoring, as well as accessories, including ties, gloves, scarves and sunglasses. The designer currently showcases his new collections during London Collections: Men.

Le Bon Marché, which is part of the LVMH group, is one of Paris’ most prestigious department stores and stocks a range of high-end fashion and accessories brands for women, men and children including Balenciaga, Chanel and Louis Vuitton, as well as beauty and homewares.
