Menswear retailer Pretty Green has relaunched its newly refurbished store in the Victoria Quarter, Leeds, this week. Following the refurbished, Pretty Green has become the Victoria Quarter largest store and will stock the entire range of Green Label, Black Label, shoes and accessories as well as the Hendrix collaboration collection.
The renewed store is also the first of the Pretty Green stores to feature the new Black Label boutique area, located on the first floor. Pretty Green's reopening in the up-end shopping area comes after four years of strong trading in Victoria Quarter. Management invested in renewing the store to support the retailer's ongoing growth, which sees the store size increased from 1200 square feet to 1600 square feet, thanks to the addition of a second floor.
“We are delighted to relaunch our Leeds store today, now the biggest in our growing stores portfolio and the first to include our new Black Label boutique area We believe the store truly represents our brand ethos of combining the love of music and fashion," commented Richard Ralph, Pretty Green CEO.
The second level has been completely re-designed and incorporates truss rigging lighting, authentic Pretty Green fly-postering and neon signage, in order to reflect Pretty Green’s brand values. In honour of the store relaunch, Pretty Green is set to host a live gig in store from the Fronteers on September 29, in addition to an in-store art exhibition, showcasing pieces created for Art in a Corner.
“As a brand, we have come a really long way since launching in 2009," added Ralph. "We now operate 35 retail stores across the UK and Japan and have a very strong online offer. We are confident our customers will love the new look and feel of our Leeds store and we look forward to exploring further opportunities to expand this new concept across other Pretty Green stores.”
