Budget retailer Primark has confirmed that its 185th UK store will open in Westfield London on June 14.

The new store will showcase two floors of fashion over 70,000 square foot of retail space featuring women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, as well as footwear, accessories, lingerie, beauty and homeware.

This flagship store, which sits within the new 740,000 square foot expansion of Westfield London, will feature the retailer’s latest contemporary shop fit, including two LED shop-front video windows, an interactive video wall at the entrance, five customer “recharge” seating areas, and allowing shoppers access to free Wifi.

The new store will also showcase 54 cash desks, including refunds and exchanges and 54 fitting rooms.

Myf Ryan, chief marketing officer of Westfield Europe said in a statement: “We are thrilled to add Primark to the newly expanded Westfield London, which is now the largest shopping centre in Europe. Primark is one of the most requested retailers by Westfield London customers, so we are proud to meet that demand and boost the centre with a much-loved brand.”

The new Primark store has also created almost 500 new employment opportunities for the local area and will join John Lewis, Boden, and H&M, which feature within the new Westfield London expansion.

Primark operates 355 stores in eleven countries: Ireland, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, the US and Italy; and has over 75,000 employees.
