Skiwear label Retro Mountain has opened its first UK store in the form a pop-up on London’s King’s Road that will be open until December 13.

The 1,178 square foot store follows the success of its e-commerce and will stock the brand’s range of eye-catching but functional skiwear designed with a retro twist.

Matt Martin, managing director at Retro Mountain, said: “We are hugely excited to launch our debut store on the King’s Road and have created a collection that is most certainly bold, brave and retro in time for the ski season.

“It is also great to be alongside other such well-known international labels all of which have established the King’s Road as London’s leading location for health, fitness and wellbeing.”

The Retro Mountain pop-up joins a series of leading brands unveiling shop fronts on the King’s Road and Fulham Road, including debut stores for couture milliner, Jane Taylor, Danish womenswear brand Noa Noa and leading lifestyle brand, Woven to the area.

Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at Sloane Stanley, added: “Retro Mountain is a great business and we are delighted to welcome this unique and exciting label to our retail line up, adding to the appeal for our international visitors and resident shoppers.”
