River Island opens styling studios

Fashion retailer River Island has opened a ‘Style Studio’ offering personal, one-to-one bespoke styling services at its new Birmingham Bullring store at the end of March and will open another one at its flagship Oxford Street store in London this Friday.

The complimentary service will offer shoppers access to the retailer’s stylists for a 30 minute, one-hour or two-hour session in the new style studio space, where they can find out about the latest trends and collections to “discover their individual style.”

The style studio is a luxurious, relaxing personal shopper lounge with sofas and a bar, and in London there will also be a ‘magic mirror’, which will enable customers to take selfies and get a 360 view of their outfit, in addition to comparing outfit photos.
