Spartoo launches Chinese website

Spartoo, the number one European fashion website, is continuing its international development with the launch of a Chinese version of its website.

The fashion website, founded in 2006 has been a major player in European fashion, in 2015 it sold more than 3.5 million pairs of shoes, and recorded gross sales last year at more than 140 million euros.

The Chinese version of the website launches with more than 700 European and international brands including Lacoste, Kickers and Petit Bateau, as well as its exclusive brands such as Betty London, Moony Mood and Fericelli.

Spartoo will offer its Chinese customers a Mandarin translated website, along with a dedicated customer service team featuring staff “proficient in Chinese language and culture, as well as fast and free delivery.

"We offer Chinese consumers a vast choice of products from the best European and international brands," explained Boris Saragaglia, chief executive of Spartoo. “All styles are represented and are available at all prices, with the goal of meeting the expectations of every profile.”

Saragaglia added: "The Chinese population is mostly young, becoming increasingly connected every day, and open to new modes of consumption. Extending our international coverage to the Chinese territory was one of our current goals.”
