Stradivarius, the young Spanish fashion and accessories brand owned by Inditex, has opened its biggest global flagship store on London’s Oxford Street.
The new store at 309 Oxford Street is more than 16,000 square foot and spans over three floors. The basement and first floor have opened and feature the women and lifestyle collections from the brand, while the first floor is scheduled to open in 2017 in time for the spring/summer launch of Stradivarius's first menswear offering.
The design of the store centres around the glass façade that allows natural light to showcase the store and to offer passing shoppers the opportunity to see inside at a brand, which is not as well known here in the UK.
The Oxford Street store marks only the second Stradivarius store in London, the Spanish brand opened a store at Westfield Stratford in 2014. The brand also offers UK e-commerce, which launched in 2013.
Stradivarius is one of the eight brands that make up Inditex Group, which also includes Zara, Pull & Bear, and Bershka. It targets women between 20 and 35 years with an offering that includes clothing, accessories, and footwear. Including the new store at 309 Oxford Street, the brand has 960 stores in 64 countries.
