American fashion and accessories brand Tory Burch is stepping up its presence in Asia with its first flagship store in Shanghai. The 9,600 square foot stores, which opened in last month, is also the label's largest store in the world.

Tory Burch first entered the Chinese market in 2005 and opened its first store in China in 2010. Counting the most recent addition, it now has ten points of sales in the country, including a second store in Shanghai.

To celebrate the opening of its flagship, Tory Burch introduced a capsule collection especially for the occasion. It consists of twenty items of apparel and accessories which will be sold exclusively in Shanghai.

The brand intends to open more stores in the regions, reports Fashionmag. It currently generated almost a quarter of its revenue of approximately 800 million euros outside the United States. It is available through 125 mono brand stores in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
