Shopping centre Trinity Leeds, owned by Land Securities, has launched its free ‘Love Trinity Leeds’ app and loyalty card, which offers shoppers exclusive discounts and offers, such as a free glass of prosecco, money off parking and gift cards.

The free app gives customers a point every time they scan a purchase over 25 pounds at a participating retailer, which currently includes more than 60, and works on a tiered level, starting off at Bronze and rising to Silver after 10 scans over 25 pounds, and then to Gold after 20 scans. The scheme is also available as a physical loyalty card as well, it just needs to be registered online before rewards can be collected.

Customers joining the scheme will receive marketing offers, as well as gain access to the latest discounts and promotions from participating retailers, which can easily be redeemed by sharing the corresponding barcode for the offer on the app at point of sale.

More than 60 shops and restaurants within Trinity Leeds have already signed up to the new scheme, including fashion retailers Adidas, Superdry, BHS, and Coast. With more expected to join as the scheme gains momentum.

Amy Richardson, digital and CRM director at Land Securities, said: “As a team we are focused on providing best-in-class retail and leisure destinations, and we can only achieve this by staying at the forefront of commercial digital innovation. We know shoppers at Trinity Leeds are already very digitally savvy, with thousands of mobile sessions taking place across the free Wi-Fi each month.

“We wanted to make the most of our shoppers’ digital mind-set and find a way to harness technology which would be truly beneficial to both them and our retailers. The Love Trinity Leeds app does both in abundance by giving retailers a new way to understand and engage their customers so they can retain a competitive edge, and by giving shoppers genuinely exclusive and relevant rewards.”
