Ulla Johnson opens first standalone store outside US in London
New York-based womenswear brand Ulla Johnson has opened its first standalone retail destination outside the US at 150 Sloane Street in London.
The opening marks a further step in the brand’s international expansion, following its first UK retail presence through a dedicated shop-in-shop at Harrods that opened in 2025. The UK has since become Ulla Johnson’s second-largest and fastest-growing market after the US through its website.
Located near Sloane Square, the new store has been designed alongside Italian architect and designer Giuseppe Porcelli and intends to reflect the residential feel used across Ulla Johnson’s retail spaces. The store will offer Ulla Johnson’s latest ready-to-wear and accessories, starting with its autumn/winter 2026 collection.
The London location further introduces a partnership with Mayfair-based Sarah Myerscough Gallery, bringing a rotating selection of contemporary craft and art into the store. The opening collection includes works by artists Aneta Regel, Marc Ricourt and Arko, with pieces available to purchase.
Founded in New York in 1999, Ulla Johnson has grown into a global womenswear brand sold via premium retailers across the US, Europe, Australia and Asia. The brand currently operates five standalone stores, making London its first permanent retail location outside the US.
