Artist turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham is said to be set to relocate her current headquarters in Battersea to White City next year, as 145-acre area undergoes a 8 billion pound transformation.
Beckham is believed to be in negotiations to sign 40,000 square feet of office and studio space in Garden House at the BBC's Media Village complex, according to the Evening Standard. The move would place Beckham's office in a strategic location, as White City is 15 minutes away from Oxford Circus by public transportation and near her flagship store on Dover Street. The new location would also be nearer to her family home in Holland Park.
The 8 billion pound investment in White City sees developers Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan establish a new creative hub in London, one which aims to rival that in Soho, by 2020. The redevelopment of the area includes the opening of the largest John Lewis department store and Imperial College. Plans for Beckham's global headquarter relocation come not long after Beckham's label was named British Luxury brand of the year during the Walpole Luxury Awards ceremony this year.
