Leeds Victoria Gate 165 million pound development is set to welcome Cos, &Other Stories and Anthropologie next year, announced the owner and developer of the retail initiative Hammerson. The trio of international fashion brands are set to join the likes of Maje, John Lewis and White Company within the new development which aims to offer a slew of new retailers within the city.
H&M's sister's label Cos is set to open a 590 square meter store spread across two storeys, which will be the brand's first standalone store in the North of England. Big sister retailer &Other Stories, which is also owned by H&M, aims to open its third standalone store in the UK in Victoria Gate. The 735 square meter store will offer the brand's ready-to-wear collection as well as its footwear range, handbag collection, accessories range and beauty offering. Finally, US lifestyle label Anthropologie is slated to open its debut 807 square meter flagship store in the North of England.
"Securing this fantastic line-up of high-end retailers...is a great result for the development," commented Robin Dobson, Director Retail Development at Hammerson. By creating a unique retail and dining environment at Victoria Gate, which is a modern interpretation of the Grade-II listed Victoria Quarter, the development provides the perfect opportunity for aspirational brands to step outside of London and build a presence in Leeds."
