British lifestyle retailer White Stuff has launched its debut native language website in Germany. The new transactional website has been designed to cater specifically to White Stuff’s German domestic customers and their preferences, whilst offering a genuine and local shopping experience.

The new website is managed in-house, as White Stuff recruited a number of German-speaking roles across the business, including four employees to manage customer service. The local platform will also be boosted by a full digital and offline marketing campaign in the country. Designed to further enhance the brand’s expanding global presence, the website features all of the same capabilities as the UK version, including delivery and returns services.

Orders will be shipped from the UK within 2 days, and the brand has established a German based facility to oversee any returns. The website offers free standard delivery for orders over 50 euros and free express delivery for those over 150 euros. “As a multichannel player with two stand-alone shops in Germany already and a roster of further shops opening in the next 12 months, a German website seemed like a natural progression, enabling us to market products locally, in the native language and currency,” commented Ben Mercier, head of e-commerce and the project’s leader at White Stuff.

The new website is now live at www.whitestuff.de.
