Independent design retailer, Wolf & Badger is set to boost its product categories by expanding into beauty, grooming and children’s wear, reports WWD.The London-based retailer, known for its unique mix of independent designers and brands, citied a shift in customer demand as part of the reason.

“We are regularly approached by a variety of great brands wishing to sell with us, and which don’t sit within the traditional merchandising mix we carry online or in–store,” said the store’s creative director Henry Graham to WWD. “Historically, we have said no to them, but with customer demand burgeoning for certain categories, there was no longer any reason why we shouldn’t be showcasing and selling certain other product types alongside our existing range. Moving into beauty and kids was the natural next step.”

The retailer, which recently celebrated its 6th anniversary, is set to offer organic as well as sustainable items from brands such as Skin & Tonic, Art de Parfum and Aeos as part of its new beauty and grooming section. The new children’s wear division will include items for children between the ages of 2 and 13 from brands such as Jessie and James, Chateau de Sable and No Added Sugar.

Since launching in 2009, the retailer has expand to include over 600 brands and designers, counting two bricks and mortar locations in London as well as a global online webstore.
