The City of Copenhagen has become the second biggest trade show city in the world.

During 2-5th February 2012 you could encounter more than 2400 brands at the five competing fairs. Nowhere in the world is a fashion week this organized with free shuttle between all fairs, one registration, one airport-stand and one website for everything. Copenhagen had a record number of 47 catwalks shows from five countries.

Gallery int. Fashion Fair had 11465 visitors this season, which is a 1% increase from February 2011 and a 5% increase since August 2011. Amongst the buyers at Gallery where Liberty, Harvey Nichols, Barneys NYC, ASOS, Net-a-Porter, Urban Outfitters, Mr. Porter and Colette as well as the Japanese buyers United Arrows, Tomorrowland and Beams.

Gallery had a record number of 322 brands from 19 countries. Gallery furthermore presented 13 designer shows, which means that The Gallery Show Scene has presented more than a 100 fashion shows during the last four years. “There was a positive feeling at Gallery this time. And it will get even better next time, says CEO Christian Gregersen. We already have a far to long list of brands that would like to exhibit in August and the visiting buyers spoke very positive about the mix of design driven brands at Gallery”.

Copenhagen alive

96% of all hotels were booked during fashion week and the same with restaurants. More than 50.000 visitors have been at the five fairs from Thursday to Sunday. 30% have been international buyers. With the unity and cooperation the five fairs provide a diverse meeting point for new, innovative designers and the many larger established brands, creating an inspiring environment for local and international buyers.
