Twenty8Twelve, the brand founded by sisters Sienna and Savannah Miller, is going forth without the sisters at the creative helm. The final collection was Spring 2012, however their departure has only just been announced. The Pepe Group,

which owns the brand and launched it with the Miller sisters in 2007, said: “After six years of working together to build an amazing brand, we part as friends,” Pepe Group managing director Nish Soneji told Drapers.

Designers
Vanessa James and Elsa Elphick will be responsible for the creative direction. Both have been with the brand since its launch.

Despite the celebrity endorsement the Millers lent to the brand, the Pepe group is confident it will remain successful. Soneiji told Drapers: “Their departure may appear as quite a tremor, but as an organisation and as a team we’re intact,” said Soneji. “We never intended to be a celebrity brand and we remain confident of our DNA. I’m confident that retailers will see the collections and still be excited by them.”

In bid to re-market the brand, Twenty8Twelve by S.Miller will be changed to Twenty8Twelve London. The AW12 collection will be shown during London Fashion Week and its website refreshed to match the new direction.
