Catwalking.com founder Chris Moore is to be honoured at the British Fashion Awards with a Special Recognition Award.
Moore has been at the forefront of British fashion for over six decades, and started his career at Vogue Studios as a studio assistant, assisting photographers such as Cecil Beaton. He quickly rose the ranks and joined Camera Press as a fashion photographer. He has since been covering the front row and catwalks shows for nearly 45 years.
When Moore founded Catwalking.com in 1999 it was the UK's first website that covered the catwalks and images could be downloaded via subscription.
In 2011 Moore exhibited some of his impressive catwalk archive at the Kings Place Gallery in London, placing a special emphasis on the UK as a creative place to study fashion design.
