Value retailer Lidl is showing no signs of slowing down its fast fashion potential.

After launching a budget denim collection last month the company has announced it's next move is into the sports and athleticwear divisions.

Lidl's first launch is called Crivit Pro and by the end of April aims to offer a complete line-up of performance running, cycling, skiing and wellness clothing plus home gym equipment.

The line-up includes advanced technical materials and details for both support and comfort with prices set at Lidl’s usual low level (a triathlon suit comes in at 19.99 euros for example).

The range has launched with a running focus while the Crivit Pro cycling collection will be in-store from April 25. Further pieces will be added in the months ahead with a full line-up available by October.

The company has also signed up a number of heavyweight sports stars to promote the range, including Irish rugby player Alan Quinlan, Ironman world champion Faris Al-Sutan, and Belgian cycling team Etixx-Quick-Step.
