Retailers nowadays need to be fast and innovative in order to stay ahead. SameSystem understands that like no other. This fast-growing Danish company presents the optimal retail workforce management system at RetailEXPO in London - made by and especially for retailers.

London is the place-to-be on 1st and 2nd of May for everything that has to do with the future of retail. SameSystem has previously been present as guests during RetailEXPO and now for the first time with their own stand. "This fair is relevant for us for several reasons," says Jesper Karbæk Ryskin, Communication and Marketing Manager at SameSystem: "Firstly, because the fair is all about the retail technology of the future, which includes SameSystem. In addition, Great Britain is an important focus market for us. Existing customers such as Pandora and Bestseller are well represented here and it is a great opportunity to meet potential customers."

Market leader in technology

Since its foundation in 2008, SameSystem has grown into a market leader in Denmark. Over the past five years, the company has experienced explosive growth and the activities are expanding across Europe. An increasing number of serious retailers are turning to SameSystem to effectively run and optimize their stores. The company serves more than 600 customers, which together account for around 12,000 stores worldwide. In total, more than 140,000 professionals use the retail solution. Ryskin: "Every day we are in contact with customers and we translate their needs into concrete applications. We are fortunate that large partners such as Bestseller use our expertise to jointly develop new tools, resulting in solutions that benefit other customers as well. "

Unrivalled precision

The retail industry is characterized by extreme competitiveness, every dollar counts. SameSystem uses machine learning to achieve the most reliable budgets and optimal staffing. The innovative retail workforce management ensures that there is no over- or under-occupation during the day, from hour to hour. Administrative tasks, such as contract handling, are a piece of cake. Everything is going digital, from making the contract to digitally signing it. "Our philosophy is: we make it easy for store managers to do their job quickly and well. This allows them to concentrate on sales and retail operations. In addition, there is more time left for staff training and professional sales personnel benefit the customer experience. "

Exclusively for retailers

It is distinctive that the solution is exclusively made for and exclusively used by retailers. An advantage with which SameSystem distances itself from traditional workforce management tools, where it has often been a matter of digitizing existing procedures. Ryskin: "With Retail Workforce Management we use technological possibilities such as machine learning and analytics to create new procedures. It means that the solution is focused on every small detail in the retail sector, the 'what if ...' cases. The logic must be able to handle every possible scenario for retail, what we call the 'edge cases'. This requires the retail solution, as opposed to generic workforce management systems that have to function for multiple industries.”

Product and customer are king

The SameSystem team consists of seventy dedicated employees who support and improve the solution from five offices in Europe. More than half of them are product developers. This says a lot about the company, where the product is number one. "Where other companies spend a lot of time in sales and marketing, we prefer to invest in a good product and innovate." In addition, SameSystem has a large support department, where ten different languages are spoken and questions are resolved quickly and efficiently. For all customers, every store manager can call, without having to first make a call to their manager: It is that efficient. Those who really understands the retailer knows how important it is that a good product goes hand in hand with a high level of service.
