London - As London Fashion Week moves from its iconic Somerset House location to Soho's Brewer Street car park, we are yet to see the impact of the location change and if it will enhance the bi-annual buzz of London's catwalk season.

Location changes aside, the schedule of designers and brands showing is becoming more impressive by the season, and the spring summer 2016 collections prove to be a strong mix of both the commercial and those that give London its fashion edge.

The schedule is packed with over 80 different designers

With over eighty different designers showcasing their collections, below is a shortlist of ones to look out for.

Lulu Kennedy's Fashion East on Saturday, September 19th, is always a hot ticket. The Topshop funded show sees upcoming and fledgling designers put their own fresh stamp on the fashion world, and the winner often goes on to do great things.

Burberry on Monday September 21st can be viewed via livestream and is arguably London's most A-list attended show. Creative Director Christopher Bailey's sophisticated curated runways are both inspiring and novel each season, making it one of the most exciting shows during LFW.

Topshop Unique on Sunday 20 September is also a hot ticket. Perhaps what Topshop lacks in quality and craftsmanship it makes up for in cutting edge trend and capturing the zeitgeist. Now under the creative direction of former Vogue editor Kate Phelan, this is always a show that pushes boundaries and sets the tone for the British high street.

J.W. Anderson has fast become a must-see show during London Fashion Week. After LVMH took a stake in his label the brand has grown considerably without losing its integrity as we see so often when a conglomerate gets involved. Anderson's androgynous aesthetic remains very relevant and his provocative shows continue to push the boundaries between traditional male and female garments.

Christopher Kane on Monday September 21st will be another highlight of the week. Kane has been a name to know since launching his eponymous label in 2006. His collections have been nothing if not progressive and consistent, making him a favourite amongst the press and buyers each season.
