Yoox Net-a-Porter appoints new directors

Online luxury fashion group Yoox Net-a-Porter has appointed Instagram’s global head of fashion partnerships and a former Selfridges chief executive as independent directors of the company.
Vittorio Radice, who is currently vice chairman of Italian department store La Rinascente, was chief executive of Selfridges from 1996 until 2003, and Eva Chen, who named head of fashion at Instagram in July, joined the board this week.
The appointments mean that the Yoox Net-a-Porter board now comprises of 11 directors, seven of which are independent.

Marchetti added: ”Vittorio is a retail connoisseur and a champion of exceptional service. Commenting on her appointment Chen added: “I’m honoured to be joining the industry leaders on the Yoox Net-a-Porter team and sharing my passion for all things content, commerce and social.”
