Antler, an under the radar British heritage accessory brand that was founded over 100 years ago, has launched an Icon Collection, to mark a significant moment in the brand's history. The company, founded in Lancashire in 1914 where it made its first suitcase, has continually evolved over the decades to meet the needs of modern travellers.
The Icon Colletion, comprising three distinct silhouettes – the Icon Stripe suitcase, the Soft Stripe suitcase, and Discovery backpack – represents a celebration of 110 years of excellence and innovation in travel.
Under the leadership of Managing Director Kirsty Glenne, Antler has introduced a global brand platform, emphasising longevity, ownership, and a commitment to quality.
Some of its cases are crafted with recycled polycarbonate and 100 percent recycled interior lining. Elsewhere a backpack designed for everyday use is made with lightweight and durable recycled polyester, featuring functional design elements such as internal dividers and a protective pocket for laptops.
In a statement the brand said its silhouettes and colours are inspired by the rich tapestry of Britain, drawing from the vibrant hues of the Yorkshire Moors, providing a poignant connection to the landscapes that have inspired Antler's legacy.
Notably, Antler was one of the first British brands to add wheels to its cases for smoother movement, adapting its designs according to the changing needs of its customers.
As part of its relaunch the company upgraded its suitcase warranty from 10 years to a lifetime. Cementing Antler’s commitment to timeless design and sustainability.
