Noa Noa, a Danish casual womenswear brand, has relocated its London store to 308 King's Road.

The company currently operates eight stores in the UK and moved to larger premises, consisting of 1,000 square foot of retail space. The larger store will house the brand’s full womenswear range as well children and babywear. A showroom for its wholesale will be opened in the store's basement.

Noa Noa was created in 1981 by brothers Harald and Lars Holstein as a feminine and romantic alternative to the hard-edged fashions of the time. The name Noa Noa means ‘simple and harmonious’ in Tahitian. Incidentally, Noa Noa was also the name of artist Paul Gauguin’s muse.

Derek Cornelius, a company director stated: “We chose to launch this larger store on the King’s Road because Chelsea is a fantastic location with a vibrant atmosphere. We believe the exquisite style, designs and fabric used by Noa Noa are perfect for the fashionable, discerning and international consumers who shop and live in the close vicinity.”

Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at Sloane Stanley, added: “Following a collection of flagship openings for international brands including Jane Taylor Millinery to the King’s Road, Noa Noa is another world-recognised brand to add to the retail line-up. Sloane Stanley continues to grow its offer of attractive new fashion boutiques and international flagships that all have a quality and allure to match this highly sought after location.”
