Accessories label Russell & Bromley has announced what it says is a “new phase” in the company’s ongoing retail expansion with the opening of a new store in Hampstead.
Opening April 12, the location was dubbed “an exciting milestone for the brand” as it continues to grow its presence in the UK, following on from its most recent store opening in Canary Wharf, London, last year.
This latest conceptual store, located on Hampstead High Street, further reflects a “new blueprint for how the brand will convey itself”, Russell & Bromley noted in a release, coming ahead of a brand relaunch as well as plans to take the label global.
The British retailer took its first steps outside of the UK in 2022 with the opening of a store in Dublin, Ireland, where it continued rolling out a freshly developed store format aimed at reflecting the brand’s luxury positioning through a boutique-like atmosphere.
Since then, the company’s chief executive Andrew Bromley has set about focusing on launching new spaces in “neighbourhood” locations, in a bid to cater to the demand of luxury consumers that are looking for more local shopping experiences.
The opening in Hampstead mirrors this sentiment, with the affluent London suburb addressing the shift in both consumer demand and brand positioning.
