Tech for Retail 2026: fashion and luxury tackle new technological challenges
On November 30 and December 1, 2026, Tech for Retail at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles will bring retail professionals together to explore the technologies transforming the sector. This sixth edition highlights key strategic imperatives for fashion, luxury and beauty brands. These include customer experience, artificial intelligence (AI), omnichannel, international growth and second-hand fashion.
With over 420 exhibitors, including more than 75 start-ups, and over 200 sessions, the trade show aims to bridge the gap between major trends and practical solutions. Several sessions will give industry brands the floor to share their working methods and the challenges they face.
Preserving brand identity while renewing customer experience
On November 30, the programme features the session “The reinvention of luxury with tech”. Speakers include Nathalie Cabut, customer experience and brand transformation leader at L’Oréal; Elise Ducret, deputy general manager at Carita; and Pascale Miguet, executive president at Publicis Luxe. The discussion will explore how new technologies can be deployed while preserving brand identity and the quality of customer relationships.
Other case studies will focus on the in-store experience. Guerlain and Rimowa will share their approach to personalised appointments, client events and in-store services. Both brands share a common goal: to better understand what makes a store visit a driver of performance. Technology will also be addressed from an operational perspective by Louis Vuitton, which will discuss inventory and order orchestration alongside the opportunities offered by agentic AI.
AI in service of decision-making and growth
AI is also making its way into fashion professions. Lectra’s session, “From market insight to business impact: how AI informs fashion decision-making”, explores how data can help professionals make better-informed choices. Sephora Collection, alongside Retail VR, will present its international merchandising workflow. This system was developed to combine global consistency with local market adaptation.
International growth is another concrete topic for brands. Together with Global-e, Lafaurie will share its experience of international e-commerce expansion, covering customs duties, payments and customer journey optimisation. Meanwhile, Gianvito Rossi and Boggi will explain how they are developing their omnichannel experience without losing the distinct identity of their respective worlds, from luxury footwear to ready-to-wear menswear.
Second-hand fashion and new commercial models
The transformation of the sector is also being driven by shifting consumption patterns. Bernard Osta, CEO of Vestiaire Collective, will discuss the outlook for resale, which has become an unavoidable topic for the fashion ecosystem.
With these sessions and case studies, Tech for Retail 2026 offers fashion, luxury and beauty professionals an overview of the technologies already shaping customer relationships, operations and growth strategies. Tech for Retail 2026 takes place on November 30 and December 1, 2026, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Hall 7.2.
